Day 45 – Airport Rhythms

I’m currently in the process of packing up to fly back to the East Coast today, so I figured I better get something posted as I won’t technically be back until Saturday after midnight. On the way here, I had mentioned that planes were subjecting everyone to music of unknown genres. And, sadly, I’ll have to subject myself to that again as I never travel with any type of music (ironic, right?).

Today, while waiting at the airports, I think I’m going to listen to the rhythm of people and machinery, and just focus in on that to see what interesting motifs can be heard. Equipment beeping, babies crying, conversations of different pitch passing me by, etc. It would be interesting if there could be some kind of commonality within all of that which blends everything together.

Signing off from the West Coast.
